Biography

Christopher Pfirrman has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel of Upbound Group, Inc. since August 2026. Mr. Pfirrman has extensive experience in legal affairs, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and financial services. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Santander Consumer USA, where he oversaw the company’s legal, governance, regulatory, and compliance functions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pfirrman held leadership positions at Santander Bank, N.A., including Deputy General Counsel, and served as Counsel at Edward & Engell, LLP (now Locke Lord). Mr. Pfirrman holds a Juris Doctor from The College of William and Mary and a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University.
